has it really been?… yup, it has. halcyon was born nigh 10 years on now. Was 9999 when the doors first opened to be precise, but why limit the celebration of such a momentous occasion to but one day? Hell no, we’re milking it for all it’s worth with a year long campaign of self congratulation!

Big things are brewing in the halcyon universe but the fun begins with a little soiree this Thursday night when halcyon takes over the secret basement room at Stay, currently site of the city’s hottest (literally – it’s a sweat box) school night techno weekly. The line up halcyon is presenting revisits a highly anticipated pairing, one that was booked for a small Thursday gathering, but was unfortunately canceled last winter. Now, after months of waiting, we finally got the chance to put together two guys that go deep into the groove. For the first time, side by side, in an intimate setting, happening underground and strictly for the underground heads…

A deep as f#@k DJ in his own right, Detroit native Eric Cloutier continues to win our esteem as he turns in one solid set after another at discreet locales dotting the party landscape. halcyon has featured Eric regularly on our Nu Pschidt podcast and we’re thrilled to have him on board for this special night.
