Endless Falls by loscil on Kranky Records
This week the new full length album from Vancouver artist loscil (né Scott Morgan) titled Endless Falls comes out on Chicago’s Kranky Records. This is loscil’s fifth release on Kranky, with releases on the influential label Ghostly International and various compilations rounding out his catalogue. Loscil has played at Montreal’s Mutek Festival, Decibal in Seattle, and toured Europe with Kranky label-mate Stars of the Lid.
Founded in 1993 in Chicago, Kranky Records specializes in experimental and electronic-tinged rock music and has over the last 17 years put out hundreds of releases. Sometimes leaning toward the ambient, sometimes toward the avant guard, Kranky’s releases are always varied and surprising.
